Coming Soon: Tragic Theater

Viva Films will kick off the new year with the most horrifying movie that no one has ever imagine it would be so scary and terrifying, Tragic Theater.

This movie, which is directed by Tikoy Aguiluz, is based on the novel by G.M. Coronel of the same title revolving around a group of spirit communicators trying to exorcise the old Manila Film Center, where hundreds of workers were buried alive after the November 17, 1981 tragedy when its upper collapsed during its rushed construction. The movie is filled with unexpected things that will happen inside and outside the old Film Center. It is starring Andi Eigenmann, John Estrada, and Christopher de Leon.

The movie is not just only terrifying, it is also controversial. The MTRCB (Motion Picture and Television Review Classification Board) gave the movie trailer an X-rating for being too scary. This means that the movie's preview will not be shown in any movie theater or on television. But last December 12, after Viva released its uncut trailer on Youtube, the board gave a PG rating for the trailer. So, you can expect more from the movie once it hit theaters on January 5, 2015.
