TV5, dubbed as the happy network, continues to break boundaries and change the landscape in the Philippine television industry as the fastest-growing broadcasting company in the Philippines has gained unprecedented and unexpected success so far throughout the year.

Since Philippine business tycoon Manny V. Pangilinan started taking over the network in 2010, the network has been committed to make its viewers happy through its own brand of groundbreaking and highly engaging programs that cater every segment of the Philippine viewing population. As a result, according to AGB Nielsen Media Research, more male and youth viewers in the country are beginning to enjoy TV5's diverse mix of programs such as comedy and game shows, news programs, various sports offerings, and other entertaining shows that suit their viewing lifestyle.

The success of the network has pushed TV5 to launch a new set of programs that will not only kick off 2015, but will also be part of the network's commitment.

Some of these programs to be launched on the start of the year include the following:

    - Happy Wives, Happy Life, a reality lifestyle program featuring the wives of popular PBA players;
    - What's the Problem?, a new legal advice show hosted by TV5 legal counsel Atty. Mel Sta. Maria with Gelli de Belen and Arnel Ignacio;
    - Healing Galing sa TV, based on the popular weekend radio health show on Radyo5 92.3 News FM hosted by Hayden Kho and Dr. Edinel Calvario;
    - E5 (Entertainment Five), a magazine and talk show that tackles about what is happening in the entertainment world;
    - Extreme Challenge: Kaya Mo Ba To?, a show filled with different extreme challenges featuring those from The Amazing Race Philippines to be hosted by Derek Ramsey;
    - Mac and Chiz starring Derek Ramsey, Empoy Marquez, and Bianca King;
    - No Harm, No Foul featuring Ogie Alcasid and various PBA personalities like Willie Miller and Gary David;
    - 2 1/2 Daddies starring Robin and Rommel Padilla and BB Gandanghari;
    - Call Me Papa Jack, an anthology hosted by popular radio DJ Papa Jack that features stories of love;
    - Rising Stars, a reality singing competition; and
    - Kontrabando, a news magazine show with an additional comedy flavour.

Aside from these new programs, TV5 viewers shall also expect new seasons of Talentadong Pinoy, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Quiet Please: Bawal ang Maingay, and Wow Mali, as well as more stories from the hit primetime mini-series Wattpad Presents.

With these new engaging and entertaining programs and the success that the network has made throughout 2014, I can say that the happy network indeed begins to become a very healthy network. This was also the statement made by its president and CEO Noel Lorenzana during its trade launch held last week. And I couldn't agree more to that. So, enough with all the heavy drama and you can start enjoy watching shows that only TV5 can offer so I can assure you that it will make you happy. And that is a fact!!
