It is an evident fact that Nintendo's Legend of Zelda series has truly become one of the best and well-loved series in the history of video games. In fact, it is the first series that fully introduced the action-adventure genre in the world of video games since its original release for the Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1986. But, what if we take the Zelda universe out-of-the-box and complement it with another video game genre? What if we introduce the series to a different environment that has never seen in its history? This is where Hyrule Warriors comes in.
I know that Link's Crossbow Training is a good out-of-the-box experience for Zelda fans when it came for the Nintendo Wii, but I considered this game as a spinoff to the traditional formula of The Legend of Zelda series. Hyrule Warriors, however, takes the series to a whole new level of gaming experience. Think of this as Zelda meets Dynasty Warriors with style!! Why? This is because this game is developed by Omega Force, a subsidiary of Tecmo Koei Games, which is the same developer of the popular Dynasty Warriors series. I cannot take this game seriously, but I guess I'll have to let these video reviews explain what this game is all about.
This is for all the Zelda fans and followers who want to try a different experience far from the traditional action-adventure gaming formula that is surely loved. I hope that Hyrule Warriors is something that you will never imagine to forget.
