Another classic Pokemon game has just been reborn for today's generation of younger gamers. And its name is Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire for the Nintendo 3DS.
Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire, released for the Game Boy Advance in 2002 in Japan followed by North America in 2003, was the third installment of the Pokemon video game series. The series captured the hearts of many younger gamers all over the world when it was first released for the original Game Boy back in 1997. This installment centers on the world of Hoenn, where many pocket monsters are discovered like in the previous worlds of Kanto and Johto. What makes this game unique was the introduction of double battles, where opposing parties use two Pokemon at the same time. It was the best-selling GBA game of all time, with over 16 million copies sold worldwide.
Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire is the remake of the said installment that follows Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green for the GBA and Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver for the DS. And just like the previous remakes, this one has incorporated new features and a very important addition to the storyline, namely the secrets behind Mega Evolution. New features of the game would include a Super Secret Base where you can build and invite friends and the Pokemon-Amie feature, which was debuted in Pokemon X and Y, where you can get closer to your Pokemon as a pet.
Aside from the new features, this game gives gamers access to the newly-restored wonderful world of Hoenn in 3DS-style gaming environments that even younger ones could experience. I should say that this remake will no doubt be successful as previous remakes of classic Pokemon games that were known and loved. If you want to take a look at what you are going to think about this game, then I give you this video review to see if this is a great game for you to try on your 3DS.
