As you all know, 24/7 convenience stores have become popular staples in the Philippines, more particularly for call center agents working at late night shifts. Many of them are not just ordinary hangouts, but also business centers where you can pay your bills and buy load for your mobile phone. But the concept of convenience stores selling mobile phones is starting to become reality. And it is all because of 7-Eleven.



Fast-rising Philippine mobile phone brand Starmobile has partnered with 7-Eleven Philippines, the largest convenience store chain in the country in selling its own brand of feature phones, Android smartphones, tablets, and accessories. This is a very odd concept for a mobile phone brand to sell smartphones is stores like these, aside from the usual cellphone shops. With this new and unfamiliar concept, there is no need for you to go to the mall. Instead, you can buy your favorite Starmobile device near you. So far, Starmobile's line of mobile devices and accessories are initially available in selected 7-Eleven branches, more particularly around the University Belt. Starmobile is slated to be available in more than 60 stores by the end of this year.
