A New Year's Message from Sentiments by Ronel

The new year has begun, and many of us welcomed 2015 with a positive outlook on our daily lives. As we all know, 2014 was a year filled with many challenges, trials, failures, and much more. But we also knew that through the years, we stayed positive through success and things that we want to do before a year ends.

Holiday Greetings from Sentiments by Ronel!!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM SENTIMENTS BY RONEL, the Internet magazine dedicated to those who want to know about everything in between!! (Photo courtesy of Tumblr)
Christmas is not just about sharing and exchanging gifts to our friends and loved ones, eating delicious food with our families such as ham and macaroni salad, and singing Christmas carols in front of our neighbor's houses for crisp bills. It's all about reflecting on what we have done and giving thanks for all the blessings that were given to us.

This holiday message is the perfect opportunity for me to thank all the readers and subscribers of this blog from all over the world for supporting what is considered to be my own favorite hobby since I started it last September 17. Furthermore, I would also like to thank a few bloggers who have inspired me through their own blogs to start this magazine blog, especially when it comes to my own purposes of making it.

As the year comes to an end, I would like to reflect on what is happening so far throughout 2014 through a series of articles featuring my own take on the best and worst of what was transpired in the year that was. I would like to call it Sentimental Value, and I will start as soon as Christmas and New Year are over. Also, expect a major revamp of my blog in the coming weeks. So, watch out for it!!

From the Internet magazine dedicated to those who want to know about everything in between, I would wish you all a merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!!

AND THAT'S A FACT!!

Top Ten Articles of the Month - November-December 2014

It's been three months since I started Sentiments by Ronel. I admit that it is hard for me to manage this blog and fill it with my own brand of articles that focuses on what is happening on my favorite fields, as well as thinking of the games from the past that I need to reminisce on. Believe me, blogging is not as easy as it looks. But thanks to my blog readers and subscribers, I was able to continue what is considered to be my favorite thing to do.

On Sentiments by Ronel and of Blogging as a Habit

It's been two months since I created my own online blog Sentiments by Ronel. And within these months, my blog has been able to come this far and soon it will reach 500 pageviews as of this writing. With that, I would like to thank all my blog readers and subscribers who continue to support my blog and read all my articles that inform you of everything you want to know in between. But, you know what? I think that this blog made me realize something about blogging.

Remembering Haiyan and the True Filipino Spirit

Super Typhoon Haiyan Wreckage

It's been one year since super typhoon Haiyan, locally known as Yolanda, devastated most of the central part of the Philippines, more particularly in the town of Guiuan in Eastern Samar where the storm first made landfall and the city of Tacloban in Leyte. Indeed, November 8, 2013 was the day that the people of the Philippines will never forget and the moment that the whole world heard a cry for help after witnessing, experiencing, and surviving a disaster like this in people's lives.

The Outcome of Super Sunday

Last Sunday, I've watched three different sporting events on three different free TV channels. They are the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup Battle for 3rd match between France and Lithuania on ABS-CBN, Mayweather vs. Maidana 2 on TV5, and the 2014 UAAP Cheerdance Competition on ABS-CBN Sports+Action. For me, it was known as "Super Sunday" because of what I have seen and watched on that day. Also on that day, I have seen that other free TV channels like GMA and its sister channel GMA News TV does not air any sporting event which could counter them except for the ladder's boring All Sports hour. Before I head to my conclusion, I will give you a quick outcome of the three sporting events that I have watched.

My Personal Experience of Playing Video Games

Playing video games has become one of my favorite pastimes throughout the years of my life. But since 2010, I have not yet been able to play these games due to some unexpected circumstances that disappointed me. Now, with the growing presence of smartphones and tablets available in local markets, I feel that I am starting to play video games once again. The thrill of playing them reminded me of my own experience when I was young. So, for my first article, I will share to you my personal story of my own video gaming experience.
